I have tried the option in the "fast command menu" where it say's "recharge/reload" after i push it some man yells "load the connonballs" but after that nothing happends :S -

I ask you lovely guys to help me with my small braincells ;D

Do you see the little map in the top-right corner ??

There are green dots\squares around it that indicate that your cannons are reloading ... it is done automatically but is set back to the starting point everytime you change ammo or press reload (Pressing 1,2,3,4 will change the ammo type)

As your crew gains more experience you will get faster reload times but it does take awhile so dont forget to press R or T (I forget which) to double the speed of the game

The re-loading time is better used for maveuvering instead of speeding up the time. Your opponent is not setting still while you are waiting. Try and get into an advantageous position for your next broadside, maintain or get your ship into a better wind position, set up your next attack to do the maximum damage to your opponent by crossing his bow or stern. Lots of things can be done while waiting to re-load.
