    Hey all,

I'm in the cell block A of the Dark Athena and collecting the pieces for the vent tool. I got the screwdriver after getting the gold tooth and I went to the maintenance room and pried open the indicated panel to crawl in the vents to the next level but the game crashes and displays an error message.

I don't know what it means but I've tried playing the game without the trainer, in window mode, in low graphics settings and others but no luck.

If anybody has an autosave or a solution to get around this then please help, I even patched the game to 1.01 and played again and got the same result.

    Please help! 🤔

    1) Do you have a pirated version? If so, buy a legit copy.

    2) Have you updated your graphic card drivers and DirectX? If not, please do so.

    3) Turn V-Sync off.

    4) Re-install the game, but this time do it on a different partition, like from C:\ To D:\ or whatever.

    5) Check your hard-disk for bad sectors, etc.

If this does not fix your problem, please reply, or PM me.

    Hey Gamer,

I tried turning V-Sync off and my hard disc has no bad sectors but I do have troublees while installing the game itself. This bug also seems to apply to Escape from Butchers Bay before entering the mainframe room.

I'll try installing the game to my external hard drive to see if that works otherwise I'll have to play it on my old WinXP system.

BTW I also updated my graphics card and DirectX but the problem was the same.

If you have any other ideas or a workaround then it would be appreciated.

    Thanks

Edit: I forgot to mention that I have to install the game at least 3 or 4 times before it completes, it may be the DVD reader or Vista but I don't know for certain. I also have a legit copy, I don't buy pirated games.

Try updating the game to 1.01 if you are playing the game that is version 1.00

Recently bought this on steam and started playing Escape from Butcher bay, i've gotten to the part right before entering the mines and so far everything have been going perfectly smooth and not a single error or even lag, haven't tried Assault on Dark Athena yet but will report if i find any error's there.
Btw, running on vista 64bit SP2.
