The guy is got a staff and he jumps up on this platform and everytime you attack he just knocks you away. And he just stands up there and throws fireballs or something like it..and never comes back down. Any idea how to beat him?

Deflect the fireballs he throws. Then lunge at him. If the deflected fireball hits the letter, keep on deflecting it because its supposed to do that.

Thanks so much...now got into another area having trouble..but will have to go back to it and try again before can remember where its at.

ok am at the area where have to get to the village. I have 1 gate of spikes that have to turn this thing around to lower it..but no matter what I do in regards to running or what...I can't get there before it closes. I have a cage that hangs above me and some ropes that are to high for me to jump to. I have no idea how to get through this.
