I was a crew chief in the Air Force and didn't have to experience the fighting first hand. I only play parts of Far Cry2 (riding around shooting people) since after finishing it I was very dissapointed with the way it ends.
I don't know but I've heard through the grapevine that the Tom Clancy games are pretty cheesy. When I went to the store I was looking more for maybe Fallout 3 or something along those lines. Now if I see Crysis I may have to pick it up.
well..i'm definitely humbled to know i'm interacting with a man of considerable experience and moreover..i'm always had a very healthy respect for the men and women in uniform..having lost plenty of friends to the war on terror and various regional conflicts. yea..Far Cry 2 was a very disappointing experience..although i did thoroughly enjoy Far Cry...loved the gorgeous scenery. do take a risk on my advice..try Tom Clancy's EndWar..its fun...a new take on future wars...this one seems authentic..although i have to agree...previous Tom Clancy games have been a bit cheesy. Fallout 3 felt good..addictive even...though very gloomy..post-apocalyptic stuff. Crysis is very good...but...Crysis-Warhead leaves u feeling very unsatisfied. u might want to try out FEAR and FEAR 2..if u haven't already...not very outstanding..but..being a hardcore FPS guy...loved playing it. so..hope u enjoy.
No I don't think that. Over the years I too have wasted/lost lots of $$$ on stupid stuff & despicable people (my at one time family). I have had some physical/medical problems through doing dumb stuff like smoking, drinking, and partying all night with no regard. I've given up that lifestyle. Yet still there doesn't seem to be a day go by that I don't go & do something dumb.
yea...i guess we've all done some pretty dumb things...but..we have to move on...enjoy life as much as we can. u know...one major reason y i have become so addicted to gaming is...that's one world..where i can be in control..do things as i see fit...i loose myself in it...for a few hours each day...makes me forget about all things bad around us. so that i can get back up..and go at it again. u know.
I have install the first two games on a friends computer and they 10yr old son plays it with no problems and on the hardest level. If you are running the trainer you can build and do what ever you want. If you are not running the trainer then you will have to take your time and captures more of the points.
When you start a game in the skirmish change the win condition to annihilate. Changes the starting resources to high. This will help till you get to know the game better if you are not running the trainer. I always change the win condition to annihilate and I play on the hardest level.
First Thank you for making me feel like an idiot.
second I'm not running the trainer but, thanx for the tips. I changed the resources to high a couple of times. It didn't seem to help. I'll try the annihilate setting.
