I've never played any of the games in this series & don't have a clue as to what I'm supposed to do. Can someone please give me advice on how to get started. I played 25 or 30 skirmishes with the same amount of loses. The enemy ends up over-running me with tanks before mine get activated or I can gain enough resources to build any for use. I tried 1 multi-player game & got my butt kicked in mere minutes. I've played several assault scenarios & won using Engineer Heroes but, that's the same scenario every-time. I think the graphics in this game are really cool & I'd like to be able to enjoy this game but, with no instructions on how to play I may just have to uninstall it & file it away as junk. !!!PLEASE SOMEONE HELP!!!

You bet. like 5 or 6 times. I've got movement & deployment down. I can create troops & even build & upgrade armoured cars but, am still getting my butt whooped with the quickness. I just seem to be missing Some point somewhere.

i suggest you play agianst computer easy (if you didnt do that already).
you have to play agressive in this game , take points is most important. at start of a game i always use my engineers to capture points, then train another pair to build first building , train like 3 basic squads there. capture more points and also build defenses (Tankstraps , wire, sandbags etc) then try to keep those points, get more resources and eventually build tanks and stuff like that
i also recomment you play with a Ally. they help you capture points and assault enemy
when i first played this game i used to play on 4 vs 4 maps with 1 ally and 1 oponent
sorry for bad english
hope this information was usefull to you

yup...u have to be aggressive in ur tactics....because this game franchise is not only historically authentic...its extremely well made. its one of the best RTS's ever made...bu u have to get with the program. play the tutorials...understand battlefield tactics....play against the computer..then go online and play multiplayer because the net is filled with hardcore gaming vets.

Well I've had it for a week now & since any & all instructions are apparently a closely guarded secret. I have come to the conclusion that it REALLY sucks & I wasted my time & money on it for nothing.

ok thats it let me tell you something, this is not a just another rushing game like C&C or DOW or any of those type of games, this game takes time to get use to it, its called trail and error, you try something you may fail, then you just start again its called game for a reason (CAUSE YOU CAN KEEP TRYING) I have had these games since the first one was released, and I still haven't worked out the perfect combo of tatics to use against an expert AI or person.
heres a tip just if you want to play this game so much put a whole bunch of allies/germans (depends on who you play as)and make sure you have Ai on your side and just 1 easy AI on the enemy side and practice useing your army thats all it takes.
and for the other stuff like setting up games, all you have to do is have a click around, it won't bite your head if you do something wrong.
