Seriously, this game must be a pain in teh ass to constantly update trainers for.

Does anybody know if we'll require a "new" trainer?

This is ridic, CA should be ashamed for such unconventional and unprofessional patchwork.

Their patchwork is neither unconventional or unprofessional.

Just because they update often doesn't mean they're bad.

Although I too would prefer had they made few large patches rather than many smaller ones.

I second the last sentence you said, thats why I'm only downloading the trainer when we get to a "Stable" Version.

Perhaps I should rephrase what I said.

I think that the "constant" updates are a good sign that they are looking at our problems, taking our feedback and looking after their fanbase but these are problems that should not be associated with the game in the first place. i myself have not yet completed a GC b/c of the crashes (hopefully that new 1.2 patch did the trick but im getting these new "memory shortage crashes" that i haven't had prior to 1.2)

Granted no game is perfect on release, and still it's only been two months since release but I don't see this as a "successfully put together game" in that it has a lot of potential, but it's putting together the pieces last minute with duct tape.

im not a child to say im not going to buy another CA game or a TW game b/c i love htem to death but perhaps i should wait next time and read the TW forums and watch for problems/wait for patches before buying. feel like i wasted 25 bucks on the SF edition and by the time the game is playable on my comp, the price will be down.

    problem settled.

    25$ for the SF edition?
    Where'd you get it?

Here the SF edition (which is the only edition sold) costs around 50$.

And through steam they actually demand 70$ for it.

Haha, 70 for a few units.

Its a pain in the ass when your internet has a crap day and your download speed is constantly around 6/Kbps

Naw I meant I paid the 50 dollars for the regular, and the 20 dollars for SF edition + 5 dollars for reservation fee (cuz i thought the SF edition was REALLY limited and i wanted to get a copy for sure)

so in total i paid 75 dollars for ETW:SF

    - FAIL on my part
