I had the same problem.
As far as I know, PC owners are not supposed to get the preorder bonus: that is why we cannot input the code.
The gist I got from the EA boards is that people emailing EA support are getting no response. This is because they are being silent about the lack of the PC bonus and don't want to be swamped with angry customers.
Frankly I'm disappointed and I hope they find a way to include the bonus for PC players.

thanks, that's the general conclusion a few people have come to, this seriously sucks ass yet again EA have crapped on its customers.... ridiculous.

Or what the code does?

If the first then thats a bit naughty.

Its the developer who is does the game side of things, EA are the publishers, sure they can give you the code, but the developer would be the best place to ask how to put the code in.

I signed into my ea account...then started the game and the unlock wasn't greyed out. I was able to enter my code just fine. So it's not all of the pc's dont get it.......

I have PC and I have download it of the internet before the game was release in retail stores and the Unlock feature wasn't there.

When I uninstall it and install my retail copy that I have gotten from EB Games the Unlocks was there in the main menu so it has to do with the CD KEY you enter if you use a keygen then no you can't go online to play multiplayer you can't even update the game.

Also make sure you install EA Download Manager if you goto it left click on it and then click on Connect to updates

then start the game it should update plus I have notice that when you use no cd fix the game won't update properly all you have to do is insert your GF cd and go into control panel and then Uninstall then click repair it will update it properly.

Lets not mention keygens.

And the reason it wasnt there was the fact the early release was not a full retail. And your registry holds the key you used for your stolen copy you had at first, so when you installed the 2nd time it was still there.

And the guy clearly stated he downloaded from EA not from some cheap crappy warez torrent site.

I uninstall the game and it work fine I can use my Pre order code no problem what I said above is that if you have ea version

you have to open your ea download manager and log in then right click on it and select connect for updates that should work.

Also I said that the if you have downloaded it from the internet and try to use use your serial that came with the retail version it won't work.

this is the problem that I had so I uninstall it and it work.

Bottom line DABhand get your facts right I know he downloaded from EA that's why I said click on EA Manager and select Connect to update.
