Well i have a problem where the game plays fine, but after around 4 minutes in it crashes with a 'Godfather2.exe has stopped working' error.
Now i've tried compatability mode for both the trainer and the game and run both as administrator and am at a loss for ideas. Will appreciate any help at all
EDIT: Well i noticed that is seems to happen a lot prior to a cutscene or when something 'big' is about to happen...

Agnofinis Their is a No CD fix available for the game, that might fix your problem with the crashes. PWisard has posted a link for it in the Godfather 2 message board. I'm sorry but I forget exactly where in which string of posts on the board he posted it.

Thanks for the reply, at the time of writing i have already tried the no-cd patch, but then i restarted my PC a few times and it stopped crashing, i guess it might have been an one of a time occurance.
