is there any major or minor differences between the systems???

360 has the 'Red Ring Of Death'.
The red ring of death means that your 360 is one of the easily overheated 360's.

Ps3 gamers haven't spotted any 'Red Ring Of Death' on their Ps3 system, and I haven't spotted a red ring of death on a Ps3 either.

Those are the most important differences between Playstation3, and Xbox360.

Not really any differences aside from the faintest graphic differences that make no difference. I only own an xbox for the xbox only games like fable, I buy everything else for the ps3.
