I have a question which couldnt find my answer in other forums.
I am trying to have units with different skins at my HQ. for example: Panzer grenadiers with three different uniforms that i could be able spawn desired unite with desired uniforms.
More specifically i want to how to add texture file and skins in my shared texture file and how to assign them to three PnzGr which i have already put in my HQ.

    Thanks

I think what you're suggesting would actually require three unique units (you can clone the PnzGr twice just with slightly different file names), each with their own spawner ui location within the HQ, and each with their own assigned skin to appear as you like it. It'd pretty much be a matter of replicating the ebps and sbps files, naming them compatibly, and assigning them the correct path to the preferred skin(s).

If you head over to forums.relicnews.com/forumdisplay.php?f=189

There was actually a thread, and maybe even a how to on just what you're asking about, and I believe his example was with Pershing tanks in four varieties.

    Ahh yes, here it is:

    forums.relicnews.com/showthread.php?t=132801

Keep in mind, vehicles and soldiers aren't exactly the same, but the concept still is. If in doubt, download a skin mod that effects the unit in question, replicate their work exactly, and then "clone" new examples of it with a slightly altered name, place the appropriate name on the texture you prefer, and so long as it is alright (no messed up alpha channel or missing mip maps or some such) then it -should- allow you to make an alternate version of the unit with the skin you prefer.

Keep in mind, modding does have a steep learning curve, but persistence pays off too, so never be afraid to see what someone else did to reverse engineer for yourself.

As a side note, if you're up to 2.501 version of the game, modding has become a bit more sticky... I've had to resort to juggling .module files just to continue.

Well, since i read your reply a bit late i must firstly say thanks for your response.

yes i've seen the sherman thread but it didnt helped me and i put so much time but about the second suggestion, checking Infantry skins you have sunken me into deep thinking to put some more time in that Reverse Eng. method.

    Thanks
