how to obtain garrot? on The Godfather 2 PC Message Board - Page 1

this isnt concerning cheats but, some missions require sneaking up and choking mobs from behind using the "garrot". well unfortunately i never found this piece of weapon, any ideas where it might be?

you find it in the first compound you take over in the ammo room.

I dont know if this will help but you can choke people by first grabbing them (using left and right mouse) and then hold space to choke them to death...

I've not checked, but i'd be suprised if you can stangle someone from behind, which is the ability the old piano wire gives.

i got the Garrot at Miami i think, it was really at the ammo compound on a barrel (when you go over the top). I don't like how they hide the weapon upgrades, you can miss them very easily (i probably missed some of them).

Found Garrot at the first mission requiring one, where you are supposed to save a dude in Miami

U can find it later in the game...Cuba or Florida...
