Regarding the Trainer (Patch #3), Remove Wanted Status, Unlimited Amm....

i dled this patch today and while it gives me unlimited ammo, all the other features are not functioning. i went thru all the troubleshooting tips online here at CH and still no luck. i am running vista 64 sp1 ... any help would be most appreciated as i became an unlimited member just to get this trainer, ... thanx

to be more clear about my game, i have a boxed retail version which updated to 1.0.30 when i installed it. the trainer seems to be 'broken' in the sense that it activates, all the buttons work, as far as stating 'actived/deactivated' when pressed. only button '3' is functional, giving me unlimited ammo. no cash, no lose wanted level and no unlimited health.

i really dont understand this and hope to resolve this

I am having the same issue, running the same OS (Vista64-SP1).

Maybe the issue is with the use of Microsoft's "Live"?

Note:
There are mods out there that claim to disable MS's "Live".

However, they are outside of CH. CH can't really provide support for something they don't have.

If "Live" really is the issue, maybe CH could look into coding a trainer using one of these mod files as a prerequisite. I am unsure of the legalities associated with doing such a thing, even if the mod files are open-source.

yes, that makes alot of sense to me. the kicker seems to be that there are no disclaimers about using vista 64. i've been trying to get this trainer to work almost all day ...lol

it is a bit frustrating to say the least. i'm just hoping that CH gets this sorted out asap so i can really have some fun the way the promo video shows as watching it convinced me to sign up so i, too, could create some trainer mayhem

the live thing seems completely crazy to me. i wonder what its really about as diverting piracy never seems to work. i feel like it's the legitmate gamers who DO pay for the games who suffer when schemes like GFW Live and RSC are forced on us.

We are unable to reproduce any of these issues. We are using the newest, unmodified version of xlive and the 1.0.3.0 patched version of the game. Yours must match exactly for it to work. x64 systems may have a different xlive version. Our trainers are not tested on x64, but most work when run as Administrator and occasionally in compat mode. Be sure to disable all antivirus, firewall, etc.

yes i did disable my virus n firewall with the same result ... now i did install one of those xliveless dll's as i hate the idea of being monitored ... any thoughts as to how i would go about getting an unmodded xlive.dll file or would it be better to reinstall game???

That can definitely be causing your problem as we're actually having to address xlive in our trainer for the options to work fully. You can try uninstalling xlive, deleting any dlls you downloaded and then download and install the latest version of xlive from MS website. See if that helps.
