I made the mistake of overwriting all previous saves with news saves, meaning I only had one save to choose from. I didn't consider the possibility that I'd run into a bug which would make it impossible to progress thus making me start all over again, because loading the previous save just puts me back in the same situation. I used the volume shadow copy feature of Windows Vista to restore a previous version of the save game, which worked, but if I'm to use it I have about 5 hours worth of gameplay the get through before I get back to my original position. I really can't be arsed.

The part I got stuck on is in Act 3, where you can either kill the two guys at the airstrip or go to the headquarters of one of the guys you are working for, and when the guard at the door lets you keep your weapons you go in and kill him. I killed him, and was then trapped inside the building - I couldn't open the door I came in, or any other door. I searched very inch of the building to see if there was something I had missed, but there wasn't.

So, does anyone have a savegame for this part of the game, even a rough approximation? I'm not bothered about which character you are or if you've done any side missions or not - I just want to get through the main story missions.

Even just at the beginning of Act 3 would be better than nothing

I decided to just play from Act 2 again, but using the teleport cheat supplied by the CH mega trainer which cuts travelling time down by at least half. It's taken a while, but I'm just a couple of missions short of being back where I was. So, the savegame is no longer required.

If a mod would like to just delete this thread that'd be fine
