As the title says, the campaign turn is taking too long. You know, the part after you pres the 'End Turn button' and it scrolls through the flags of other nations? Well that part is taking too long(from 30s-1 min), and it ruins everything. Don't tell me to turn off AI moves because i already did that. So i am just wondering if anyone else has the same problem? Or is it just my comp lagging. If you have the same problem, please post here, or post if you have any ways or mods to change this problem. Thank you.

Did you try to just hitting the space button every time an opposing faction makes a move? It makes the unit skip to the end of it's route.

As far as I can remember this has always been a pain in my butt too but it is something you have to live with. Thirty seconds to one minute isn't that bad, besides it lets you see how the battle fields are unfolding and coming to be.

Maybe an intel i7 940 processor will solve the problem?

30 sec is okay also needs so long 30 - 40 sec, had already used 1.5 minutes

But it really makes me dead hitting the next button. Is it my comp that is too lousy, or is it the game?

im sure if you have a really good processor and a lot of memory, naturally, it should run faster. But you have to realize that there are a lot of nations in the game, however big or small, and it is a graphically demanding game. For instance, for whatever reason, my computer always sees fit (in every campaign i started, usually about 8 turns in it will start) to freeze for about 20 - 30 seconds on Sweden. no idea why.

Bottom line, it is probably both but dont bother spending money on some more memory and a new processor.
