Hey...Seriously...I accidently shot one of the resident outside Rivet City and now all the residents is my enemy...How can I fix this?Don't tell me that I have to load my latest save game cuz my last one was in Megaton

There may be a faction you can re-set with the console.

I don't recall seeing any faction lists though. Hopefully someone else will have this info for you.

i just left the city went to do a couple of side quests, went back and it was fine. they were all dead though except for the weapons trader and the security guards and they left me alone

They all dead except for the weapons trader and the security guard??But I just play this game and the main quest is to find the doctor(Lee?).How far did you go from the city?

he may mean that after a while they will no longer be hostile. perhaps you can try going somewhere else and waiting for a day or two and come back?

as for the faction codes... i know that i have seen a list that someone extracted from one of the fallout game files somewhere... but i can't remember where sorry

If you wait for a while somewhere else, they shouldn't be hostile anymore.

Yeah, after about 5 game days the hostility timer resets. Same with all factions with the exceptions of the slaver faction. If you kill one of them or turn them hostile all the factions will be permanently hostile. Just be careful with the residents of Rivet city a lot of them are involved with side quests and some are essential to the main quest. As for the factions, you can open the esp with the geck and check out the faction codes and enter the cheat into the console in game.
