For quite some time there has been version 1.07 of LEI, available through the forums:

Is it going to receive it's own trainer?

Are there any cheats for it?

I've tried looking through the data files to see if it's possible to mod cheats into the game, as making the easy difficulty even easier by giving the player a large bonus, but it seems that the difficulty's only effect is on AI economy, and lowering that too much will simply make the game not easier but less fun.

We've retired this game, sorry.
