Should 1 turn recruitment or construction actually show 1 turn when the building/unit in question is selected? If so, I have yet to be able to get the 1 turn construction to work by the directions provided. It has no appreciable impact on any of my cities, and I push the key when hovering over the city to make -sure- I select it before the 2 seconds are up.
Well only the whery higest units have morethen 1 turn to begine with.
I belive the higer class ships are one of them, when it comes to ground units most are 1 turn in the early game.
Maby that is the reason your thinking its not working?.
And you need to be super fast.
I had a problem as the key was mapt to move the screen when prest.
So when i whent to campain map and hit it it would move the map.
That way i couldent move my mouse fast enuf to get it to work.
So i remapt it.
Cal already explained how it works, you need a high level building to benefit from the unit production cheat.
Example
Level 1: 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10 normal right
Level 2: 1,1,2,2,3,3,4,4,5,5
Level 3: 1,1,1,2,2,2,3,3,3,4
and so on...
Lets say your building has leveled up while you have units queued, then you need to remove them, go to construction and then clear your mouse from any highlights, then push 4 and quickly swap to recruitment to requeue.
If you see wierd numbers jump like this
1,1,1,2,2,2,4,4,6
That means you havent been fast enough, remove the gap and beyond then start again.
1,1,1,2,2,2,3,3,3....

The thing holding the city leveling up is that you need to reserch things that will unlock buildings.
Then you need to have the population to match it.
So i would like to have a way of adding population to a city.
Maby a "add 1000 population" on press of button?
You cant add to many at once or your city will kick you out... and thats bad.
