I am getting a Fatal Scar Error when I try to start this mission.

Is anyone else seeing this?

I have tried it with out the trainer and the mod pack I am using, and it still shows up.

Is this another terminator armor on a unit that I have to change? I hope it is that simple.

Is this a mission where you must meet with Tarkus at the beginning of the mission? I've met similar error when I forgot to remove Terminator Armour from the Tarkus before the Angel Forge 1st mission. If there is Terminator Armour on Tarkus - you MUST remove it from him BEFORE the Angel Forge 1st mission - otherwise - well ... I had to start campaign from the very beginning.

No, I am on like day 20 or so.
This is the one where you have to fight the Eldar Avatar of War or whatever it is called.

I have looted 2 copies of terminator armor by now, and this mission will give me a 3rd copy.

Well it is a bug of the trainer
I have reinstall the game and go through it once again without MOD... When you using the trainer that error would occur.
If Cheathappen team need a sample of save I can upload it

I can second this, and the effects are the same no matter what game version you use (with the corresponding trainer ofc.) - 1.0.0, 1.1.1, 1.1.2 - all the same.

Save game is available if needed

same here...scar error. I have one terminator armor but i don't have it equipped.

I had the same problem but I did the following:

Make all your units invulnerable.
Send them via a move command to the spot, where the Avatar is.
Just keep clicking "Continue" all the time.
As soon I was in visible range to the avatar, the error stopped.

You can then decide, to go for a quick kill, or fall back and clear the map first.

I think I found the problem, I had a couple of the Armor of Azriah terminator armors in my inventory from the wargear mod, if youhave them prior to The Wailing Doom it causes that error for some reason, if you have them remove them then restart the game thats what I did and it worked fine afterwards. hope this helps
