Warhammer 40k: Dawn of War 2 Message Board  

Ok I just beat the game I have the new v2 cheatmod and trainer in use. I started a new game in primearch and well the game crashes when it gets to thule cinematic shooting on the hill....I bypassed it by esc before it could run then at a point in the mission the game crashes. This hasnt happened before and I uninstalled the cheatmod reinstalled the game and tried it without any mods or trainers and it still did it. The saved games are saved in live so I tried my old saves that crashed during the mission and a new one yet I still get a bugsplat error. ANy ideas?


Also using the edited wargear mod would also crash the game before I could enter the first mission..but I deleted those replaced with regular and even deleted the whole new campaign folder so whats going on?

Had the same problem. Every save file works, skirmish maps work, but when I try to start a new campaign the game crashes.
But for some reason it helps if you do this: load the game, start a skirmish battle, exit and then start a new campaign. Tried 5 times and everything's ok.

Reduce your detail thingies and effects density to medium... that should fix it. at least your computer doesn't shut down every time you launch the game

i wouldnt use mods if i was you keep away from them unless there official or you had desigened them your self also make sure your using the correct trainer not a mod'ed one.

if your still having no luck chances are that xlive is interfering with the trainer as it has done in the past with certain game i myself have no trouble but i havent been using any mods though,
