Anyone else having trouble with the kill the Eldar Avatar mission? For some reason I've only been able to do it once - every other time it gives me scar errors every ten seconds which makes it unplayable.

I got the same error mate.. Trainer worked fine the first time I ran through this mission. The second play through and I got the scar errors. I havent really done any testing to see if that save game is broken for other missions or tried it without the trainer active. I was playing on max difficulty. Not sure if that makes a difference. First play through was on recruit.

The one time it worked without any problems was the second time through on sergeant - first time didn't work. Only difference was that the 2nd time I took the very counter-intuitive advice and loaded up on plasma weapons (which were as ineffective as one would expect). On Primarch I have the same errors regardless of squads or load-out.

Going through my first play thru now on Sgt and keep getting the same error you're talking about on this mission. Couldn't back out of the game after the error started. Any idea why this occurs and is there a way around it?

I came across the same problem with this mission. The way that I was finally able to play this mission was I left the game but kept steam open. inside of steam I selected Dawn of War 2. Once it was selected I right clicked on the game and selected properties. From this screen I selected local files and clicked on verify integrity of game cache. I did this once and got a different fatal scar error that was a consistent number as opposed to the several numbers I was getting before. So since nothing else seemed to work I repeated the process and when I selected the mission again it worked just fine.
