I still haven't watched the trailer. I meant to, but I forgot. From what I read, though, Mass Effect 2 will have the feature of importing your save from Mass Effect. All of the choices you made in the first game will have an immediate impact in Mass Effect 2. I think that this was the only way a sequel could work.

Edit: Okay, I watched the trailer and wow... Shepard is KIA? >< I guess that means you play as someone else in Mass Effect 2?

Shepard probably died from contracting aids from that Alien chick that you have intercourse with. Sad, but true. (Also very likely!, didn't see any condoms around)

Not really. I assume you know what KIA means, and in most contries, that designation is not given unless death of said person is confirmed.

For some reason when I first watched it, I read Status: "blank". haha

I guess I didn't want to believe it.

Here's something that you probably haven't considered: maybe they're showing a clip of the end of the game? I know it isn't likely, but it's a possibility, right?
