Please people, this is a huge game, please provide us with EXACT RECREATE details when reporting an issue so that we can try to reproduce it and address it. We can't be spending hours and hours if the problem only exists under certain conditions.

Okay. I'll describe exactly what went down.
Booted the 1.0 version of the game, enabled the trainer, started a new campaign. Finished the first mission, enabled the "unlimited ability points" cheat. Maxed out the stats for my force commander, as well as tarkus (tactical marine squad) and started the next mission. As far as I can tell, only a few of the traits I unlocked actually applied to the game. Tarkus has a trait that converts frag grenades to an energy using ability - didn't work. Commander's battle cry unlock wasn't enabled, either. Mysteriously, the bonus to the energy cost of his "To victory" ability was applied.
So, in short, the game doesn't seem to register ALL the abilities, but some do work.

Perhaps the game knows which abilities you're 'supposed' to have at certain stages of the game? It could be scripted that certain abilities do not work until later in the game. Might not be anything we can do that about that if it's the case. We'll certainly look into it though. Thanks for the feedback.

Ok i will wait. So How do I change my game to version 1.0? as 1.1.1 is the release version with my retail game i bought from the shops. 1.1.1 is the version of the game after you first install it. Maybe there is a file i can download to get the cheats working. Sorry for been so impatient.

OK I've run into a few issues with the trainer.

the exp code does not ever let you get to level 20. you get to it in the next mission but it goes back to 19990 at the next briefing.

when you use the exp code it also levels up all of the enemys as well. which makes the code pointless unless it is coupled with max level war gear at the same time. i have played 12+ levels with maxed exp characters and still do not have really good weapons for my team.

so to sum things up:

the exp boost needs a little work. fix the 20k issue and work out a way to either negate the level scaling or provide a way to get wargear easier.

Ummm, they are. They just made this trainer for the people that complain about not having a 1.0 trainer. Most (if not all) of the trainer bugs will be removed with the 1.1.1 trainer.

PWizard (and maybe Calibur...not sure) have said that they are working really hard to get the trainer the way that they want it to. So sit tight, drink some soda/beer/koo-laid, and either:

A) deal with the current trainer
B) don't use the current trainer
C) go cry yourself to sleep

I think most will go with option C.
