UPDATE: Well, I haven't been able to test the enemy damage yet but I'll take your word on it. As for the weapons, if I deactivate the ammo option and then reload the game I can swap weapons as much as I like. In fact, if I reload and THEN activate the option I can still swap a weapon, but only once. But if the ammo option is on and I load a save then I can't swap at all. And hitting F1 has no effect: i.e. I load a level, THEN activate infinite ammo, swap a gun for a missile launcher, when I try to swap back it says ammo is full. No matter how many times I hit f1 or deactivate and reactivate the ammo option I can't pick it up. Only way is to turn off the ammo option and reload the save.

It's only 10mb in size. As you can clearly see, I active the trainer and then options 1-8. I round the corner, immediately encounter resistance, and start firing. None of them are taking damage or even bleeding. I even squeezed off a lot of bullets into one soldier to make my point.
Grenades and Melee attacks kill them just fine. The guns don't.
