It's fairly simple, really. Windows Vista, as part of the security system, makes it so that you cannot modify files that are directly in the program files folder. There are two ways around this. As the more complete method involves being an administrator, I'll ignore that path. For everyone else.. reinstall. When it asks you where, rather than install to C:\Program Files, install to C:\users\YOURNAMEHERE . This SHOULD solve the problem, but I make no promises because I'm an administrator and as such used the more complete method (which involves circumventing a large number of Vista's security protocols, mucking about in DOS and generally would be poorly advised to almost everyone).

or as im doing, move the file to the deskop and edit it there, then move it back to the file it came from. works for me
