    Ok, ladies and gentlemen. I have enhanced the editor made by DescentJS and edited by ase69_s.
    Changelog (+ means feature added; ! means bugfix):
    + change character name;
    + change campaign (use with caution - preferably with new character or on new difficulty; otherwise your journal may become corrupted, but the char will still be playable);
    + change mode (hardcore, softcore) and die counter;
    ! edit gold (now should work correctly).

    You can download the editor here: link removed

    I am not uploading modified source code at the moment, but I will when I implement Combat Arts modification (which I plan to do soon - but don't hold your breath .

    Have fun cheating.

    EDIT: The download link has been removed. The upgraded version of the editor is posted a few posts ahead.

    i do hope eventually this can be made to allow combat art editing also including the modifications for them, i have a few characters where ive chosen a combat art modification and it aint been all that good and i wish i had chosen the other one but would be forced to create an entirely new character for it, sucks big time and considering all my characters are pretty high lvl the idea of having to do it all again does not appeal to me so i really do hope such a function could be made if it's really possible :-/

    It is being made mainly because of modifications and for the purpose of changing them. So don't create new chars but stick with your current ones till the editor is ready (which I hope will come soon).

    To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
    application or computer (machine.config) must have the
    jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
    The application must also be compiled with debugging
    enabled.

    For example:

    When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
    will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
    rather than be handled by this dialog box.

    DwainDibbly, it means (if I'm analysing this correctly), that the editor screwed something royally during saving the file. Unfortunatelly it also means that the JIT debugger is inactive for the editor and we can't say where or why the program crashed. Could you specify, what class is the character which you've tried to modify and what you've changed using the editor?

    Unfortunately I was attempting to 'edit' everything allowable by your program. When I went to save and each successive save only resulted in the creation of a new editor running. Closing them out resulted in that dialogue I posted earlier with no edit taking place.

    Downloaded the editor again and tried editing only one item and the results are the same.
