games slow for me could i get some help

    ok so i just resently put a 9800gtx graphics card in my computer. an all the settings the game says i need to run it ok i more then meet. yet when i play the game it moves so slow an basicly i know theres no way in hell id be able to play it later on in the game cause of how crappy it runs.

    now ive heard nothing but go buy this game from people on this site so could some one help me here an stop me from just getting rid of this game. cause basicly right now i have a game that i should be able to play but even with everything on low i cant do much but slowly move around this world.

    It's all very well and good upgrading your graphics card, in fact I have the exact same one, but what about your processor (CPU) and RAM? Could you post your specs here?

    Also, have you got the latest driver for your gfx card (180.84)?

    The latest drivers are 181.20-but some are reporting it as unstable. I'm personally running the 185.20 beta, and it's good.

    GTA IV takes a lot of CPU processing power as well as GPU strength. You'll need a good all-around computer.

    memory(RAM: 2.00 GB

    this is exactly wat the welcome center on my computer says for those spots



    so if it seems like i was angry before when i wrote this but my computer has been down for 2 an a half months waiting to get a graphics card from dell said screw them an went to newwegg got it in 3 days lol



    so yea ive been with out a computering an then when i get it here an instal it an instal this one game i have a problem an i can barely play it so it kinda frustraed me so again sorry an thank all of you that can help me
