On "Disc 1" where you first get the chance to acquire Yuffie, I beat her, and then the game freezes and crashes before the next scripted scene where you insult her and she joins you. Is that a regular problem? I can always wait til later and get her but I want to get to Wutai and get the Leviathan Summon Materia but I can't do that without Yuffie's scripted Wutai chase. I can always try again on "Disc 3" when I get the Highwind. And if not... I never liked her anyway. I have Vincent and I like him better anyway.

I think, think, that I had this happen to me some years ago. I had to get a new copy of the game and start over to gain her as a party member. But, if it saves you the trouble of hunting for a new copy to skip her, I'd say go for it.

There are also quite a few people on this forum who can get you save game files, maybe one of them will respond and help you out.

You can get her after you obtain the buggy. go back to the woods and drive around. Trust me on this I played this and the same thing happen to me, I just had to get her after the corel prison mission.
