Well I think it would make a nice change

What I think would also make a nice change is a change of sides, not necessarily to the "bad guys" but maybe some of the other allies. Indian, Australia, Russia, New Zealand, Egypt, even the Arab Revolt against the Ottoman Empire, these could all be interesting perspectives to fight from IMO

There was a lot of interesting conflict going on, Russia managed to take out a huge chunk of the Turkish Supreme Commanders force when he tried to take them on in the Caucasus I believe, quite a victory since Turkey were such a tough opponent traditionally.

And yea heaps more stuff they could do

Well they've already had Russians in the WW2 games already and like Dhampy said most games companies are American-centric, the States would have to be involved in some way...

Either way even if it is a small role by the US in WWI, I think a WWI game (if done properly) would definetly sell.

Yea, I dont play many WW2 games, just an example

Of course the US would get a part in it, its unavoidable.

I must say, bringing WWI into the gaming scene is quite a interesting thing. I think it's worth a shot; maybe just do a little more research into it, that's all.

I would love to see a WW1 game whether it is a RTS (such as large scale version of Company of Heroes) or a FPS. but in both cases, one playable side should be ANZAC because they had some of the interesting stories of World War 1 such as apparently shooting down Red Baron among other more famous stories.

    I'd buy a a WW1 Game.

As much as I love learning about our history in War, I'm tired of seeing scripted battles of D-Day and storming the beach-heads

If they made a WW1 game, using the Medal of Honour: Airborne gameplay - I'd be happy

Like I said I think the Call of Duty engine would be best, that or Gearbox doing it...

Yea true ANZAC's did have some interesting battles, and being treated like cannon fodder by British officers would be an interesting game, surviving against all odds
