Lord of the Rings: Conquest Message Board  

I got my hand on a copy of the game! Woo! I've played it for about 20 minutes, and thus far, the only complaint I have is ridiculous voice acting.

Any thoughts so far?

reading the reviews for it doesn't make it sound that good and they say solo is pretty hard and gets aggravating

the IGN reviewer said it best. if you liked Battlefront you'll like this game.

yeh but battlefront is easier. i played this on nds and it gets annoying. besides some people lik battlefront only because they lik starwars

The voice acting and Sound in general are really poor.

Gameplay seems a bit tedious and the graphics are only average in my opinion. Some of the fighting moves and combos can be pretty cool and overall it does feel like a Middle Earth game.

Only on the first few levels so we'll see if it gets any better.

Well another ea sh!t. Game is annoying, have ugly sfx ( sounds, graphics and animation are terrible), badly optimized ( from time to time deep slow downs) and have four fun maps. I was hoping that i will play good, entertaining game, but noooo ea just give us yet another rushed game ( i.e. NFS: undercover). When i learn that ea can't make good games ( spore and sims are only ones that keep a high performance). My score for this is 4/10.

mabye your graphics card and sound card are bad because its really good on my pc (the only problem is the voice acting)

I have no issues with slow gaming or bad graphics. But considering my rig, that's not surprising.
