Gears of War 2 Message Board  

I believe Gears 2 is a great game. Almost everything about it is awesome. The inclusion of Horde mode was a great idea, but I do have little nit-picking, personal problems with it. First of all, the Kryll and the Berserker were key enemies in Gears 1 and they're completely missing from Gears 2, I was hoping to have to stay in the light or be quiet while escaping the Berserker, hoping it wouldn't ram through me.
I guess I could deal with them being missing, but what really kind of makes me mad is that in Gears 1 the Corpser and the Brumak seem like the bad asses of the game. But in Gears 2, you can completely demolish them with hardly any trouble. That kind of makes me feel that everything I did in Gears 1 was child's play.

Anyways, I know these are little personal problems I have with it. But what about this game do you find yourself having minor issues with?

I think the Devs wanted Gears 1 to look like child's play after Gears 2.

...I think.

But still, it made me feel like my fight against the Corpser in Gears 1 or me running away from a Brumak was all for nothing.

The reason the Kryll are gone in Gears 2 is because the Lightmass Bomb in Gears 1 destroyed their breeding ground.

The disclusion of the Berserker irked me just a bit though.

Hmmm, that would explain it.
But I miss those little bastards.

it was fun watching those little terrors eat the other locust i only have one problem...carmine dies again i like carmine...but nobody really cares so im off to kill more people with the sniper

another reason that corpsers and brumaks are childs play now is because it's like real life after you have fought them before they just get easier cause you know how to counter them that is why when you fight the corpsers it's so easy...

No, it's because they gave you big ass machinery.
