If you choose the Deal storyline, then eventually (after doing the mission) Roman dies from a sniper that misses you and hits him. Then, you do a mission similar to the one where you chase after Pegorino, but instead, you are chasing after Dimitri who killed Pegorino. At least that's what I think happens.
Of course, I didn't really like Kate, so I decided to go with the Revenge storyline and get back at Dimitri.

It all happend on Roman and Michelle weding. So there came a man and he went to talk with Niko, so he asked: "Is this Niko Bellic ? ", Niko said "Yes". Then that man took PISTOL out, Niko saw that and he tried to take pistol from him, but unfortunately that man made a shot and he killed Roman.
That man was hierd by Dimitri.
