Are we ever going to get an online addition to Oblivion?

I heard of a beta version a few years ago, but that was for LAN only and couldn't support more than two people.

oblivion was not desigined for online play so donot expect much

would like to have that as well, so long as it isn't an mmo. perhaps a limit of 4-8 players per game.

but, considering that the lifeblood of the game is fan made mods, i don't think it will happen. making sure everyone has the same version of mods, the same load order, etc. besides, it can be a pain ironing out mod conflicts on one computer... think about having to balance it all on multiple computers, all with different users

but it crashes alot(for me atleast)
