Bigger map, new units, ect ect. Better graphics, more optimization, all kinds of minor stuff, the big thing is naval battles though.

your also able to garrison troops inside buildings, have troops take cover behind walls and make barriers on the battlefield. Theres also a more in depth "zones / countries" control than before, theres 5 promo videos out that you can watch, should give you and idea.

Yeah we will be able to build defences and man them & i beleave that we can buy upgrades for the units throught the tech tree, and of course NAVAL battle lastly the greatly updated world map so now in this era the whole world is useable so this will be the best one YET + the last i heard was 02/02/2009 for the realease date
