So you have two cars in front of your house. One of them is free, but out of warranty and possibly erratic. The other one is a modest coupe, with warranty, and the option to replace it by a better model (maybe even sportscar) in the future. But it cost you 8 cents a day.

I dunno, tough choice.

As for me, I spent two years cursing CH. How dare they force people to pay for stuff that should be public domain?! On top of that, what gave them the RIGHT to make the public release date longer and longer?! I looked for alternate ways to get such trainers. Around the time of Supreme Commander, there was this cool guy named Caliber. At least HE understood trainers should be free. Then he joined CH, and my world collapsed.

I found out later that CH was offering a one-time payment for lifetime membership. Condition was, I had to do it now, since they were about to change pricing schemes. It was a no-brainer. The money was never an objection, simply the principle of it. Everybody's got 30 bucks. Heck, you can walk up to random strangers all day, and have it by the end of the day.

So in my case, had I waited even longer, continue to be annoyed by them, I would still be without trainers, and I would have lost an opportunity.

Point is, you have to decide at some point to either accept the things you cannot change, or leave CH behind you, instead of wasting your own valuable time and effort in showing your displeasure on their forums.

As for Cal, he spends an unhealthy amount of time with these games, many of which he probably doesn't even like. It almost seems like a day-job. Shouldn't we be paid for a day-job?

I'm not sure if this has already been said. I just skimmed over a couple pages, because there are alot of posts.

I see some people are bashing CH for charging a $25/year membership fee. Aside from the fact that CH's trainers are typically superior and come out faster to the others floating around the net. You can be relaxed downloading from CH. Unlike downloading a trainer from some obscure off the beaten path site and/or one that gets them from all sorts of random unscreened sources, you don't have to worry about some tojan or any malicious code being inbedded. Infact that's the main reason I signed up for CHU. I have good security on my PC but even so I'm not about risk it over a trainer. So you go ahead and b**** about something stupid like a reasonable fee and get you trainer at some other place, but remember this post when your PC is totally after some douchebag decides it's funny to attach a virus to the trainer you're about to download.

well i lucked out. i paid $15 at one point for lifetime membership. but even if i waited i'd pay monthly for CH.

only site and trainer makers i've ever seen to release updates for every single patch for a game.

i agree with the last 2 guys i thought the same thing i am not paying for trainers that i can find for free made by others well after playing games with trainers that wasnt to reliable and sometime the wait was far out lasting then my patients to play a game sometime and then i started to see a new game was out with in that same day or very short time there after, BAM CH had a trainer out and i thought WOW thats freaking fast as Crap through a GOOSE lol The i thought what the hell lets try it for a year but most likely if i got the extra Green Backs i'll be joining for life when that time comes. Its Well worth it, to be those frustrating games that you just can not beat sometimes..........

Plus i like to add one more thing they also do support for their trainers as well as updates for patches and such. I havent seen that any where else but CHEAT HAPPENS...

Yeah you pay here for support & updates.
And you can't find any site which release trainers that fast and for every game which come out.

Also trainers here works fine (if not it is fixed within one day)

Even if you don't pay you just don't get anything , be happy that you can get most of trainers in 1 month or how long it is.

Will the trainer ever release for normal member too ?
or is he only for unl. member and never dloadable for us not-unlimited member ?
If its so, i have to play the game without any trainer
