Well, Rockstar is now the equivalent of toilet paper to me..................But the good news is this. Saints Row will be taking its place for me.

I believe saints row2 is coming out in a few weeks and that game will be modded and manipulated into glory

I too thought it was outrageous that Rockstar would not easily allow modders to have their fun with the game. But I wouldn't use SAINTS ROW 2 as a replacement. It's just not half as good tbh and imho.

Agreed Saints Row will replace gta4 for me aswell . Without decent support from the modders and the creator and the stupid things to even run gta its nothing more then logic to look for another game that does what we all would want to do with gta4

You can't blame them for doing what they did. They probably don't like modders undoing all their hard work so that the game can be played according to the modder's liking. I certainly wouldn't if I personally created a game that IGN rated 10/10 and hailed it as one of the best games ever to be created.

Don't forget all the hot water they got into over the hot coffee mod. You can't blame them for trying to minimise the damage modders can do second time round.

u jsut need to disable it from checking the hash

people have and are working on new things

rockstar knew moding was something ppl liked to do. they should of maid it wasyer

i douvt they would remove it

hot coffee was rockstars own damn fault. they left all the sex scene code in. the modders just found it and turned it on.

was planed to be in the game. they never left the code in.

if u bought fta be4 they changed it u have it after some dates

i ctill hav my original copy of SA its still there and funny as hell
