On the achievements that require you to complete the majority of the game with a turian, krogan, etc. is it possible to save before the area the Completionist achievement is unlocked and then just switch out characters after loading it back up?

How about I got the Completionist achievement, but it didn't give me any ally achievements and I played the whole thing with Garrus and Wrex. Why do you think it did that?

You have to over 75% of the game, sidequests included, with the partner

I beat every single side quest along with the main story with Wrex and Garrus.
