Grand Theft Auto 4 (GTA 4) Message Board  

I can imagine how hard it is to build a trainer for a LIVE enabled game. And it's not a game with just a "LIVE-Option" like e.g. "Universe at War" and some others. It's a game which builds massively on [censored] G4W LIVE. I could understand when it is impossible to make a Trainer. CH still worth the money I spent one- and two thousand times ;-)

Dont know y rockstar would use LIVE for a game like GTA ...
we always get awesome trainer from u guys, so for GTA time is not a problem, as long as we get a trainer .......

Thx for updating, it at least shows the determination you guys have. If ch does not manage to do it, I doubt anyone will.

Cross-platform gaming. It's been out for the Xbox 360 for over 6 months now. That, and the fact that they don't like hackers/coders like CHU messing up the game so you can play with cheats.

They use it because Microsoft payed them ~50 Mio $.

So that is why xbox 360 get exclusiv add on.
And Live is also used for the achievements system.




I think they use it not because of cheaters , there are some cheats already integrated ingame.
Like i told it's because of money and even live isn't realy good anticheat system. (there are more better anticheat systems)

Even up until the release of GTA IV, I was still playing GTA SA as with cheats it DOES prolong the fun factor of the game as you are able to do so much more with the game with enabled cheats, so bringing out a trainer for me is very beneficial as I can complete it several times and have loads more fun while doing it

But I do understand that it is very hard to get cheats to work and the fact that trainers may not even exist for this game is a major possibility.

I even tried using Cheat O Matic for this game as it has worked with many other titles but GTA IV is totally ignoring it :P

Thanks CH for putting so much effort into this game and if you manage to release a trainer; I speak on behalf of this forum that we will be VERY grateful.
