first of all, thanks for all the kind comments in this thread regarding the fact that cheathappens is the best and that we strive to support our members and bring them reliable and fast trainers for the biggest titles (and for some of the not so big titles).

i cannot going into detail at this time, but this game is frustrating for many reasons. the biggest problem is windows live being part of this game. as i mentioned, i cannot give more details at this time, but live is being used in many ways in this game than has been used in the past. Rockstar has taken more than 5 different steps to try and thwart hacking this game. in fact some of the steps are so specific, we are wondering if cheathappens trainers were targeted specifically.

at any rate, i have spent a total of nearly 24 hours total over the course of 2 days on this game. in that time i have updated red alert 3, completed hired guns trainer, completing our gothic 3 trainer, updated space trader, and shaun white snowboarding. there is no need for us to try and put something for a game the caliber of grand theft auto that is 'iffy' and only works on a few machines or crashes vista users, etc.

please be understanding that we are devoting more time into this game than any other title we have worked on in the past, but there may be a point that we have to accept that a reliable trainer will not be possible for this title, especially when the developers have devoted so much code and time into preventing such hacks/trainers.

with that said, we don't mind the enthusiasm and the 'where's the trainer' remarks that are posted. after all the members here have come to expect the quick and reliable work from us over the years. i just wanted to let the members know what is up with this title and why there is a delay and there is a realistic possibility that we may not be able to accomplish a trainer on this game. i wouldn't be for lack of trying!

thanks again to the members and all the enthusiasm for this landmark game. the developers have done alot to try and allow us to change the experience to our 'liking' unfortunately.

hehe I knew it, I've just got the game today and I've tried to mem hack it, in hopes of gaining an unfair advantage, especially the money, but I came up empty ... the best thing I could do is make shop items sell for free. I personally understand the bother of hacking this game ...

This is what i prophesied, the day that developers..........Actually screw that..is it even the developers who are doing this? or is it Windows life thingy paying these gaming companies off to conform to their laws??

What do you think the future of gaming will be like on the PC? do you think it will get to a point that 90% of the games will be unhackable? and will even go as for as trying to sue cheathappens.com for trying to hack?

First off thank you for all yalls hard work with making trainers in general. Second thanks for updating us on the situation, I had a feeling when I was installing the game that Rockstar going to such lengths with the Social Club and Windows Live Games that something was hinkey. At a certain point I even got a feeling that Rockstar was going out of their way to make this game difficult to modify.

It is a shame, used to it wasn’t like that, game companies didn’t really care about trainers and cheating devices like the Game Genie (maybe before some of yalls time) but ever since x-box came onto the scene game companies have seemed to see trainers and cheating devices as wrong and immoral. I don’t get it myself, if a person buys the game then why should the game company care what he does with it as long he isn’t copying it, they got their $60 bucks. They shouldn’t have any interest if cheathappens it, use trainers on it, play Frisbee with it, wing it at our sisters head, put it in the microwave or use it as a drink coaster. They have their $60 bucks, we have our fun, end of story...

But I digress, No matter what happens with the trainer, thank you again for all the hard work and even if it doesn’t work out it isn’t from a lack of trying.

this is bad news but im not surprised with all the protection this game has.
