I was thinking about doing the Direct 2 Drive on this one. But I also want to use the trainers when they come out. Should I do Direct 2 Drive, will there be any issue with the trainers?

1000% impossible to say. Since the game is not out yet everywhere. Once the trainer comes out you'll have to wait and watch the messageboard to see if D2D and Steam people are having trouble.
if it's anything like past LIVE games they will require different trainers than the retail. Hence why i always go retail.
