read the box (retail) or read the websites info. or goto can i run it .com that should tell ya if u got the the hardware to play it.

1.) Do you have the retail version or steam version of FO3?
2.) Do you get any error messages that pop up? Or does when you run the game, it just crashes and brings you back to your desktop without any error popups?

By default when you install the game, it should auto detect your video card specs and auto set the max settings your video card can handle.
