    Hi all,

Those who have already started playing G3 Forsaken Gods have certainly seen how "unpolished" it was.

Two patches have been released. I strongly suggest you to install them both :

    1. Release patch (v 1.04) :
    Link

    2. Patch 1.06 :
    Link
This one resolves a very serious bug in a main quest ( "Marc quest" ) that made the player get stuck in the main quest (I was...).

Be careful, these two patches will perhaps look for a wrong installation folder and won't want to install.
Just choose your correct Program Files folder and it will be OK.

In my case, they looked for a
    "C:\Program Files\JoWood\Gothic III - Forsaken Gods"

I changed it to my correct installation folder :
    "C:\Program Files\JoWood\Gothic 3 - Forsaken Gods"

And both installed themselves without trouble.

    Good luck, and have fun.

This addon is so broken its just sad they even thought about releasing it. I tried orginal + first patch, and when i speak to some NPCS what i choose in my dialog is what they say. They should be ashamed of themselfs for pouring out alpha games. But its Jowood... we are all used to it.

Gonna try that patch and see if it help, i doubt it tho.

I think the add-on is not as bad as the original Gothic 3 when it just came out. BTW it's not the only developer that does beta testing after an official release of a game

after i installed BOTH patches the game runs fine for me... but the story line could have been written by a 3rd grade elementary student... the voiceovers are a lot more annoying than they were in G3 proper... Thank the lord for 'Fallout 3' to come and save the day..... lol

Even with these two patches, I still won't play it until Jowood releases a major upcoming patch as they promised in a statement just a few days ago.
I only play Xbox 360 and PC games, ha!
