Tomb Raider: Underworld Message Board  

I am in Mexico and are suppose to get
into the open room in the courtyard before it closes but i can't,
it closes before i can get there, can someone please please provide me with a savegame from after that point so that i can continue?

It's doable. You just need to use your bike to get to the middle entrance as soon as you align the calendar on one side.

I know but it is not like the road is free, i can not get the bike to go fast enough to go to the other side.

Heres how i did it.Get the Trainer from GCW by kelsat English one.It has 9 functions 2 that really help are super speed and super jump.Just before you line up the outer ring on the 2cnd calender save your game.This you can always come back and start just before you open the gate.Before you open the gate jump out the opening and take the bike back to where it is at the gate entry point.Now use the super speed and jump to get back to the calender.You can jump over the pit on the way back with the super jump option on.Move the outer ring into place and when you are released jump out the opening again and haul butt back to your bike with the super speed and jump on.you should get to the bike quick enough to drive through the gate.Note:Toggle off the super speed just before you get on the bike it screws the bike up. Hopefully CH can put these options on their trainer when they have time,I know there swamped with other games right now.

Are you reloading your savegame each time you try this? If it times out, it undoes the puzzle on the "easier" side. Go to the other side and resolve the puzzle, then you should have enough time to make it to the field, and you don't have to worry about parking Lara's bike in a specific spot.

Hope you don't mind my piggybacking on this on this topic but I need help here also.
Aligned the first calendar and trying for the second. Can't make the jump from the last post to the wall, the one where the column at the end has two post at 180 degrees to each other. How to do it?

Figured it out..just had to "drop" and shimmy to the adjacent post.

man thats easy....but u need 2 have gud control of ur bike...when u adjust the 2nd mayan calender the gateway opens.the u get 45 secs 2 go in... don't worry if u can't do this the 1st time... don't go 2 da 2nd calender..go 2 da 1st one and adjust it then rush ur way back 2 the gateway..(keep some landmarks so it'd be easy)
