Usually someone has already bought the game and started talking about it on here...has anyone bought it yet?
"But wait." You say, "I saw Sgt. Johnson die twice now already. What's up with that?"

Well, think of Sgt. Johnson as being like Kenny from South Park. No matter how many times he dies he'll always come back. Why? Well, it's complicated.

IGN pretty much hates it. They gave it a 5/10 and said that Midnight Club LA is way better. Normally I would buy it anyways to see for myself, but after the pathetic attempt at a game that was Pro Street, I'm definitely not buying this one.

    Rent it maybe?

There's been a lot of mixed reception, I honestly don't think you should bank your opinion on one person's opinion and previous experience. If you do that, then you're ignoring the fact that this series has a successful legacy, and that although they took a bad turn with ProStreet, who's to say they haven't switched?

A grumpy critic hates it at IGN. So ****ing what? They care about statistical and technical care, not enjoyment, which is what a game's all about. On that front, gamers all over the net have been praising Undercover. THAT's something you can bank on.

That would be a good point . . . if I had time to play several different games. So far this school year I've only bought one new game, and that was last week. And I only play every two weeks when I go home. I spend very little time gaming anymore, so I'm only buying highly acclaimed games, which is why I bought the new Midnight Club(which is amazing btw).

As far as enjoyment, tbh I rarely have much fun playing single player NFS, it's just too easy and repetitive. As far as their legacy, they're a corporation, I got no loyalties to them, they want my business they better make a damn good impression first.

midnight club: LA is way better than NFS:Undercover the only thing i hate in MC:LA is the car engineFX and some environmentalFX but the rest is awesome.. I'm not sayin nfs sucks but driving is still solid and arcade.. btw i like both and played all of their games even the PSP ones

    well first
@skyline i respect you as a member but your tast in games is...I dont know about MC(midnight club)it looks sweet havent played it "yet" but i will...but for prostreet id tell any one that liked forza to play it i love it i have beat it 2 times(and own it) but its not a need for speed if you ask me and this undercover is ok game play but not anyware close to (need for speed)NFS prostreet i like that games real(like) driving at least to me.this is a fun game if you want to just race but the cars arnt that fun to make the parts are uhhh ok.but painting the cars even cost money!wheels are big $$$
it takes to much money to make a car look sweet and by the time your almost done with that car you get a nother pink slip car and its better then your one you just finshed and you cant sell your pink slip cars witch is dumn.but the good side its over all a fun game. fun shase they tride to go back to the most wanted feel and its a ok remake but most wanted was better(too me)the game its self is a good game for the laid back gamer the hard core gamer should find a new game. id give the game 5 half awesome half crap thats just me(ill buy it after the price drops maybe)
