Well that sucked up a week or so of my life but I finished the game (tried a few variations right at

i was on my way from downtown DC to arefu to solve the problems with the family. i passed some barn or something as i heared the *TCHIIIIII-BOOOM* and there were alien-energycells everywhere.
i knew that there had to be the firelance, but i also knew, that it could take a long time to find it.
but there where someone who save me that time.
dogmeat!
if this happens to you, tell dogmeat to find you a new weapon and he will guide you to the firelance, or if you don't follow him, he will bring it to you.

i really start to like that old fleabag! =)

its so fast it can do an infinite loop in thirty seconds!! =)

if you leave for a couple of game days and go back...look in tenpenny's apartment and you'll notice he's no longer there...go to roy and theres a conversation option to ask about tenpenny...roy says they had a "disagreement" and he killed him...leave again and come back a few in game days later and you wont see anyone there anymore...again approach roy and choose the new conversation option and he explains how no one liked the "new management" so its only like 3 ghouls left .... very boring tenpenny tower now (specially since i killed the remaining ghouls for driving everyone out...)

does that mean, you can't buy anything anymore for your appartment, if you chose to blow up megaton?

EDIT: I've been circling Fort Banister for hours and the stupid thing just won't crash for me...just going to keep playing and occasionally wander through the area and hope that it works

Yes I went back and the Roy's friend says something about them being killed in the basement and it smells. So I killed Roy and you get bad karma how can that be? the guy's a mass murderer. Also does that mean you can never get a quest line on who put the contract out on you with the Talon mercs. On the first Talon mercs you kill there's a note linking the contract to Tenpenny. So why is there no quest to get back at the Talon mercs. It's bloody annoying not to be able to do something about them.

Now that I think about it, is there anywhere in the game that explains the talon company at all? Seems like they're a whole bunch of them and no explanation as to who funds them.
