everything looks allright.
if it doesn't work that way, i'm afraid we need to wait for someone to create a mod.
the only other way would be to manipulate the game-files themselfs. in this case the "Fallout - Sound.bsa" located in the Data-folder.
but i don't like tinkering with those original files.
right now im looking, if there is some config-file that tells fallout where to take the music from.
changing text in some file isn't as drastic as ripping gamefiles appart and reassembling then, praying they still work afterwards. =)
if you want to look at those files yourself, you can download and install the "Oblivion Mod Manager". the website is here:
Linkyou can open the ".bsa"-files from Fallout 3 with the "BSA Browser", but it will complain about the files having and unknown version number.
i think i read somewhere, that the fallout 3 files do have a different version number in their file-header and that you would need to change them with a hexeditor to edit them . . . or something like that. can't remember exaclty. ~=)
but you can use the BSA Viewer to view the files anyway and extract content of it.
i havn't tried to build a new .BSA-file, simply because im not that deep into modding games. =)
