id dun all tha online stuff but i cant get past tha. how do i get online on pearl. if i go down stares in pkmn center and talk to the woman it says sumin like i need a friens ???

Do you even have Wi-Fi? If so you have to register someone in your Pal Pad using their Friend Code, and then if you're both online at the same time you can battle each other.

You have to ask members what their Friend Code is, I don't know mine at the second, I'll give it to you later. Find it in your Pal Pad.

Open up your PalPad (available in the basement of any pokemon center) and select register a friend. Then you can give them a name (bes4360 for me) and then you input their friend code.
