I have the 1.01 patch with a geforce 8800GT and the game runs great on screen rez 1440x900 with graphics all at max apart from AA is at 4x. so possibly if this is mainly happening with ATI its something in thier drivers.

yea this does seem to only happen to ATI users. once again EA makes a game without testing on ATI cards. lazy bastards.
