James Bond 007: Quantum of Solace Message Board  

It seems like this game is totally wrapped around the Live client. I've tried multiple things to try and disable it, and even thought I had it once as the game didn't crash for a couple of levels, but I can't replicate it easily. Perhaps you can use the trainer right before a save checkpoint and still get the benefits of ammo, etc in the savegame without the trainer.

I did think it was another vista issue and or a Winblows live issue.

there might be a better cr*** coming out. groups are probably are working on it.

I don't think its the .exe that's doing it. I think its a combination of the Live engine because apparently Microsoft doesn't like cheating offline either so they have it where it detects something.

Back regarding my previous post about saving the game.

I can confirm 100% that you cannot load the game no matter where you got to. I played for about 3 hours last night done about 4-5 levels without cheats and passed many checkpoints, there is no way to save or load gameplay, so everytime you restart the game you have to start from the very beginning.

I dont understand why you think you cannot save the game. If you hit escape and clickon save and quit it saves the game at the last checkpoint.

When you restart the game click continue and it starts from the last saved checkpoint.

Shame about the trainer though, but great effort as always.

Saves only work when you are logged into "Live".
There is no "continue" if you are not logged in...
