Fallout 3 Message Board  

great work guys

I am also using the Direc2Drive version of the game, XP SP3 and I'm having the same problem with the crashes and I also cannot find the fallout.exe.cat to change as well. I'm assuming that it would be in program files/bethesda softworks/fallout 3 folder but it is not in there!!
any help would be great

any one else besides me crash after a few seconds after turning on and activating a few cheats on the trainer.

Thanks for the change Fallout3.exe.cat info!I'm running Vista Ultimate on a 2 quad Q6600.untill I changed this like you suggested The trainer was completely locking up the game.I did have to start over completely but I was just in the begining after the classroom testing so I didn't lose that much.Running with no crashes now!

I am still having the Vista issue, cant get back into game and I really want to use LIVE. Please fix this!
