Ok I got the trader mod and it works awesome, but as soon as I buy what I want the trader drops dead also when I return to the clear sky base two guys by the campfire drop dead for no reason. Was this intentional or is there a fix?

That is because theyare over weighted by the items they are carrying. It will kill them if the cheat is not active. Same with other STALKER game.
